Male Eating Disorders Research, University of Bradford

I completed my PhD in the study of male eating disorders and published a book from this research 'Male Eating Disorders: Experiences of Food, Body, and Self'.

In addition to research, I believe in doing public engagement work, including training and awareness raising, as this is crucial for improving our understanding of men with eating disorders.

Further research interests are: masculinities, misandry, hermeneutics, and reflective practice. I currently teach scholarship skills to doctoral students, as well as giving lectures to sociologists and psychologists about MED & masculinities.

See my website for more information about what I am up to at the moment and for a list of things you can feel free to ask me about: http://www.brad.ac.uk/eating-disorders-and-men/.
