Ruth Lowndes

Ruth Lowndes is a Research Associate in the Department of Sociology at York University currently in research-related work in long-term care within the "COVID-19, Families and Long-term Residential Care" and "Changing Places: Unpaid Work in Public Spaces" projects led by Dr. Pat Armstrong. Prior to this, she entered the “Re-imagining Long-Term Residential Care” project, also led by Dr. Pat Armstrong, as a post-doctoral research fellow after completing her doctoral dissertation. Ruth is also registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and is a Certified Diabetes Educator.
