Ruth holds degrees in law, health and education and a PhD from the ANU. She is admitted as a solicitor in NSW. She has published widely in law and health journals on a variety of topics including negligence, health professional regulation, ethics, privacy, leadership, human rights, globalisation, health and trade. She has worked in both the government and non-government sector. Ruth is co-author and co-editor of the text, Applied Paramedic Law and Ethics.
