Saikat Dutta is a research fellow in railway mechatronics systems, at Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE), University of Birmingham. Saikat is primarily working on novel mechatronic railway track switching projects. His research interests also include Mechatronics, Railway Engineering, Vibration Analysis, Vehicle Dynamics and Control Design.
