Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science, Lancaster University

I completed my PhD in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies at Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) in 2017. In 2019, I was awarded a two-year SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada) postdoctoral fellowship which was hosted by the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science (CASS) at Lancaster University. My research focuses on the International Baccalaureate, a key player in the global education industry, and its impact on national or provincial/state publicly-funded education systems around the world. I have worked in educational development in East Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
