Sally Gainsbury, PhD, Doctor.ClinPsych, BPsych(Hons), has over 18 years’ experience conducting research which aims to minimise gambling harms. Her research focuses on the impact of emerging technology on gambling and risk-taking and ways in which technology can assist in reducing gambling harms. Professor Gainsbury is frequently invited to give keynote presentations and has provided expert input for policy makers and key stakeholders internationally. Professor Gainsbury is the Editor of the academic journal International Gambling Studies. She has published over 130 peer-review journal articles, two books, and numerous book chapters and research reports.
