Sam Filby is a Research Officer at the Research Unit on the Economics of Excisable Products (REEP) based at the University of Cape Town. In this role, she also serves as the project manager of the World Health Organization's Knowledge Hub on Tobacco Taxation. Sam is also a contract economics lecturer and course convenor in the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town.
