Sam Johnson-Schlee

Senior Lecturer Human Geography and Town Planning, London South Bank University

My PhD focused on urban geography, in particular research into gentrification in Brixton based on an ethnographic method. Since then I have also carried out research into historical cultural geography relating to post-war London. Currently I am working on a research project called Gaseous Domesticities funded by a BA innovation fellowship. I have also written a book called Living Rooms which is about the home, it is literary non-fiction for a general audience and is published in November by Peninsula Press.
