I am an Assistant Professor of Technology and Operations at the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. My research interest is micro-operations, or the low-cost, within-system, resourceful, easy, or otherwise small operational changes entities can make that have a large impact on performance. My work focuses predominantly on the public and non-profit sectors.
I received my PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering. Before graduate school, I was a high school math teacher with Teach For America in the Bronx, NY.
