Samantha Lundrigan

Professor of Investigative Psychology and Public Protection, Anglia Ruskin University

Sam is Professor of Investigative Psychology and Public Protection and Director of the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER) at Anglia Ruskin University. With a particular interest in public protection and the development of evidence-based approaches to the prevention of sexual violence, Sam works closely with external stakeholders across the public sector, government, industry and the third sector to deliver research with real-world impact. She provides policy advice to criminal justice agencies including the Ministry of Justice, Home Office, and National Crime Agency. She sits on the National Police Chiefs Council Prevent Board and the Home Office Perpetrator Prevention Panel and is currently directing a four-year programme of research into online child sexual abuse.
