Research Associate in Community Health Sciences, University of Manitoba

Samantha Salmon received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Health Sciences in 2015 at Simon Fraser University and her Master of Science (MSc) in Community Health Sciences in 2021 at University of Manitoba. Her MSc thesis research examined associations between child maltreatment, bullying, and adolescent substance use. In 2016, Samantha joined the Childhood Adversity and Resilience (CARe) Research team, led by Dr. Tracie Afifi in the Department of Community Health Sciences at University of Manitoba. Samantha's main research interests include mental health, child maltreatment, resilience, and biostatistics.
