Sanford Schram

I teach in the Political Science Department at Hunter College, the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute and CUNY Graduate Center. My research focuses on the politics of race and poverty. My work is multi-methodological deploying various forms of data analysis to examine multiple dimensions of the political economy of poverty and inequality in the US and elsewhere. I am currently writing a book with Richard Fording entitled "Hard White: Trump and the Alt-Right."
