Postdoctoral Researcher, UOC - Universitat Oberta de Catalunya

PhD in Communication (Universitat Pompeu Fabra). She is a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral resercher at the Communication Networks and Social Change Research Group (Internet Interdisciplinary Institute) and lectures at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). At present, she conducts a research stay at the Data Justice Lab (JOMEC, Cardiff University) funded by a José Castillejo mobility fellowship.
Previously, she has been a visiting fellow at the Chaire Hoover d'éthique économique et sociale (Institut supérieur de philosophie, UCLouvain) and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Communication of Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Her research focuses on the social and political implications of data-driven technologies, with special emphasis on their effects on democracy, social justice and fundamental rights. Beyond academia, she has professional experience in algorithmic auditing and digital public policy consulting.
