PhD in Communication (Universitat Pompeu Fabra). She is a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral resercher at the Communication Networks and Social Change Research Group (CNSC-IN3) and lectures at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). Previously, she has been a visiting fellow at the Chaire Hoover d'éthique économique et sociale (Institut supérieur de philosophie, UCLouvain, Belgium) and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Communication of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). Her research focuses on the social and political implications of data-driven technologies, with special emphasis on their effects on democracy, social justice and fundamental rights. Beyond academia, she has professional experience in algorithmic auditing and digital public policy consulting.
