Lecturer in Public Health Nutrition, University of Surrey

Dr Sarah Bath is a Lecturer in Public Health Nutrition at the University of Surrey.

She has been researching iodine nutrition since 2009, and this has focused on the risk of deficiency in UK pregnant women, and the implications this has for offspring cognition. She has received funding from the Medical Research Council (Population Health Scientist Fellowship) for iodine research.

Sarah is also a registered Dietitian and is aware of the importance of translating research. She has written a fact sheet on iodine, published through the British Dietetic Association.
