Sarah Casey

Dr Sarah Casey teaches Communication at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. She leads the Real Stories of Country Women and Real Rural Women’s Leadership projects and is the Secretary of the national peak body, the Australian Women’s and Gender Studies Association. Sarah is the author of Media and Society (6th Ed) with Michael O’Shaughnessy and Jane Stadler and Hashtag Feminisms: Australian media feminists, activism, and digital campaigns (forthcoming 2022, with Juliet Watson).
