Sarah Hendrica Bickerton holds a PhD in Public Policy with a background as a Sociologist. Her research areas are the policies, politics, and behaviour around online interaction, technology, and gender. She has taught in the areas of gender, social policy, and social theory, has worked and studied at the University of Canterbury, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Victoria University of Wellington, and is currently employed as a Lecturer in Public Policy with the Public Policy Institute at the University of Auckland.
