Associate Professor in International Agricultural Development, The University of Queensland

Scott grew up on a mixed farming property in western Queensland and has a PhD in agricultural economics. He completed an Honours degree in Asian Studies, graduated from the Hopkins-Nanjing Centre, speaks fluent Chinese and has collaborated with 20 Chinese research and government agencies. He has has conducted 25 agricultural development projects in China, Southeast Asia an the Pacific and leads UQ's involvement in the Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research.
