Post-Doctoral Curatorial Fellow, Bowdoin College

Sean P. Burrus is a curator and scholar of ancient Mediterranean and Middle Eastern art, with a special interest in the reception of ancient cultures in Renaissance and Enlightenment Europe and in the Americas, from the colonial period to the present. Sean has previously served as Interim Curator and Andrew W. Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, Frankel Fellow at the University of Michigan, and Bothmer Fellow in Greek and Roman Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
