Sebastian Tello-Trillo

Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Economics, University of Virginia

Sebastian Tello-Trillo is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Economics at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His fields of specialization are Health Economics and Applied Microeconomics. He studies health policy in the U.S and Latin America.

Currently, he is an editor of the ASHEcon Newsletter, and he also helps with the organization EconThaki, which aims to reduce the barriers to entry into economics PhD programs. With Alex Hollingsworth, he co-hosts the podcast "The Hidden Curriculum", which explores topics of productivity in the economics profession.
