Senaka Ranadheera is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences within the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne. He was an Early Career Research Fellow at Victoria University before joining the University of Melbourne in 2017. Senaka teaches a number of undergraduate subjects and is also the coordinator for postgraduate subject Food Safety and Quality. His research focuses on probiotics, prebiotics, dairy products and food fermentation. He holds a PhD (Food Science) from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
