Shadow Shad

Shadow (real name) is an under-graduate of the Australian National University and a graduate with honours from the University of Canberra, currently doing his Masters in Communication Media Studies at the University of Tasmania.

His background in in English Literature, Creative Writing, Philosophy & Film Studies. With a creative honours in Creative Writing.

His fields of research include Soft Power, Japanese media (specifically manga & anime), Supernatural narrative in manga & anime as well as fantasy and sci-fi literature.

He worked a long time in the security industry, moving from being a bouncer to risk management.

Has previously written & ghost written for print media such as "Social Bindings" and "The Australian Sci-Fi Digest" and mains an online blog focussing on Pop Culture.
