Research interests include characterization and improvement of earthen materials (slurries, soils, and rocks) for sustainable management of mine wastes (tailings dams and waste rock dumps) and civil Infrastructure (constructed in, on, or with marginal soils) as well as for predicting climate change impacts on agricultural soils and earth structures.
