PhD Candidate in Crime, Justice and Legal Studies, La Trobe University

Sharon's PhD research examines the policy and practice of teaching young people the ethics of intimacy. Her research takes a critical approach drawing on the theory of risk management, and its implications on the rights of students to receive a comprehensive model of sexuality education.
She has a special interest in the challenges special education teachers face in helping students understand the complexities of relationships.
