Reader in Law, Cardiff University

Sharon is a Reader in Law at Cardiff University, researching divorce, prenuptial agreements and feminist legal history.

Her first book Prenuptial Agreements and the Presumption of Free Choice (Bloomsbury/Hart 2015) was shortlisted for three major legal book prizes, discussed in UK Parliament and was cited and applied by the High Court of Australia.

Her second book Quiet Revolutionaries: The Married Women's Association and Family Law (Bloomsbury/Hart 2022) includes a foreword written by Lady Hale, the former President of the UK Supreme Court and has been shortlisted for two major book prizes.
