My research since 2000 has been in the field of low energy natural ventilation. This was initially conducted at the BP Institute. This has led to a breakthrough in ventilation strategy, the filing of a patent, and the formation of a multi-million pound venture capital backed spin-out company called Breathing Buildings.
I provide supervisions for Engineering undergraduates in mathematics, but also lecture at the Department of Engineering for engineers and architects in the course module on Natural Ventilation.
