Sheikh Abdul Rahman

Postdoctoral Fellow in Microbiology and Immunology, Emory University

Dr. Rahman did his PhD in HIV virology from the University of Heidelberg - Germany. Subsequently he joined National Institutes of Health as visiting fellow, where he studied HIV biogenesis. Currently, Dr. Rahman is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Prof. Rama Amara at Emory University, where he studies human viruses such as HIV and HCV. He investigates viral pathogenesis, immunology, and cure strategies.
