I am a PhD in Economics from Punjabi University, Patiala, with a teaching & research experience of more than 7 years with Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab. I have more than 50 paper publications in national & international journals, books and newspapers. In the capacity of a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for TIGR2ESS programme, University of Cambridge in partnership with Centers for International Projects Trust (CIPT), I am working with farmer communities to generate awareness and bring behavioural change towards adoption of sustainable agriculture practices in Punjab.
My core area of research interest includes issues related to industrial migrant labour; agricultural labour and farmer welfare; sustainable agriculture development and Punjab’s rural economy.
