Senior lecturer, University of Newcastle

Sidsel Grimstad is a Norwegian-born expert on cooperative housing. Prior to moving to Australia, she worked as an adviser for environmental and international development aid organisations in Norway and for the United Nations.

She is chief investigator on an Australian Research Council and housing co-operative sector funded project, Articulating Value in Housing Co-operatives (2021-2023. For more information on this project, please visit www.housingcoopresearch.org.au.

From January 2023 she has been employed as Senior Lecturer at the Griffith Centre for Systems Innovation, Griffith University, Queensland.
