Lecturer in Food Safety, Food Quality and Environmental Management, Cardiff Metropolitan University

I obtained a degree through Glasgow University, however the majority of the programme was taught at the Scottish Agricultural College in Ayrshire. Following this, I moved to Copenhagen and continued studying a summer university programme through KVL University.
Academic study stopped through work within the food industry for 12 years as I progressed in to Group Technical Management. I have worked for many food manufacturing companies in food safety and quality and retail as a Technical Solutions Manager.
In 2011, I moved back to academia as a lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I began a part time MSc Research in Life Sciences in 2014 with the progression in to a PhD following completion.
