Simonne came to Saskatchewan from Johannesburg, South Africa, via the University of Oxford in the UK where she did her D.Phil. She teachers African History and History of Medicine and researchers issues of health care, medicine and gender in South Africa. Her passion is teaching and pedagogy and she strives to be role model for Queer students and those who are neurodiverse.
