Siqi Xiao

I am an MA student studying sociology at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). My research interests center around gender, sexuality, intimate relationship and social inequality. Taking an intersectional approach, I am dedicated to revealing how gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, immigration status, and social policy intertwine in complex ways to shape individuals' partner choices, intimate relationships, and family formation. I have conducted research in Canada and China.
