Researcher in nutrition, Loughborough University

Dr Sophie Goudet is a researcher in nutrition with over fifteen years’ experience working in low income countries with NGOs, the red cross, UN agencies and academic institutions. Her recent work investigates urban undernutrition and various metrics to measure cost/effectiveness of nutrition-specific interventions. Her current area of interest lies in practical scale up maternal nutrition interventions, nutrition and resilience in the context of climate change and understanding nutritional choices for young girls and adolescents in low income urban contexts. Previously she worked in the humanitarian and private sector and holds a PhD in Nutrition (UK), a Master in Nutrition (France) and MBA (USA).
