Assistant Professor, Michigan State University

Stacy Hickox is an Associate Professor in the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations at Michigan State University, where she teaches courses on employment and labor law. Her research focuses on various areas of employment law and labor law, with a particular emphasis on the barriers to employment faced by people with disabilities or a criminal record. Stacy often teaches seminars for both employers an unions on current topics in employment and labor law.

Stacy received her Bachelor's degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Stacy practiced disability law at Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service prior to coming to SHRLR. Ms. Hickox also taught for several years at MSU's law school, including courses in employment law, civil rights, and disability law.
