Dr. Stan Kubow is a professor at the School of Human Nutrition at McGill University. He has published nearly 160 peer-reviewed research articles focused primarily on the impact of food components, diet, and nutrition in a variety of human diseases. This research has included population studies relating dietary patterns to obesity, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular disease. He is ranked among the list that represents the top 2 percent of the most-cited scientists in the world according to the composite citation index released by Stanford University. He has lectured dietetics, nutrition, and medical science students for over 30 years on the importance of nutrition in the maintenance of health across the lifespan.
