Stanley Tsarwe is a media researcher with an interest in African radio and its convergence with digital media technologies. Other research interests include online and mobile health interventions; media, conflict and peace in developing countries; mobile technologies, gender and development; media for development.

He holds a PhD in journalism and media studies (Rhodes University, 2016); MA in journalism and media studies (Rhodes University, 2011); postgraduate diploma in media and communication studies (UZ, 2004); BA Gen (UZ, 2003).
