Stefania Pozzi

I’m a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds conducting a research on the sociocultural impact of Korean music promotion in Japan. I'm very interested on intercultural communication and cultural relation between Japan and South Korea, with particular attention to Japanese consumption of Korean pop culture’s products such as music, TV drama and movies.
After a BA in cummucation studies with a minor in Japanese studies, I’ve continued pursuing my love for Japanese culture and its connection and interaction with neighbouring cultures with a BA in East Asian Studies (Major: Japanese studies, minor: East Asian studies). Feeling like I needed to expand more my knowledge, I pursued a MA in Japanese studies that has given me the opportunity to set the basis for my current research.
