Stephen Mshana

Stephen E. Mshana is a Professor of Clinical Microbiology and Consultant Clinical Microbiologist at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences, and the Bugando Medical Centre in Mwanza, Tanzania. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Dar es Salaam, a Masters degree in Medicine from Makerere University and a PhD from Saint Augustine University of Tanzania. His research focuses on the molecular epidemiology of multi-drug resistant pathogens and of other pathogens of public health importance. He is a member of the National Antimicrobial Resistance Multi-sectoral Coordinating Committee in Tanzania.
