Professor, University of Otago

I am a conservation biologist who works mainly with marine mammals, particularly on their ecology, acoustic behaviour and their problems with entanglement in fisheries. I co-lead a research group at Otago University which runs detailed long-term studies on Hector's dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, sperm whales and right whales.
