Senior Research Fellow, Victoria University

Dr Steven Percy is an Electrical Engineer (PhD) with skills in energy research using modelling, programming, machine learning and optimisation. Steven received a 2020 Churchill Fellow researching the role of Hydrogen in Australia's energy system and industry. Steven leads VEPC's research program on wholesale electricity markets, battery storage and hydrogen energy.

From 2009 to 2014, Steven worked as a Research Engineer at CSIRO Energy Technology, Australia. In 2018, Steven completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and with the CSIRO and Low Carbon Living CRC. Since 2014, Steven has held research positions at IBM-Research, Melbourne, Australia and the University of California, Berkeley, California, USA.
