Associate Professor and Head of Department of Maths & Computing, University of Southern Queensland

Earned his PhD from Antwerp University in Belgium in 2003, having done research on concurrency control for XML databases.

Soon thereafter moved to Australia to take up a lecturing position at USQ in Toowoomba.

Stijn has specialised in teaching courses on data management, web technology, and mobile systems. Became Head of Department of Mathematics and Computing in 2009.
