Lecturer of Psychology, Bangor University

Stuart is a lecturer in Sport Psychology at the Institute of Psychology of Elite Performance (IPEP) within SSHES. His main area of research interest is in performance psychology. He graduated with his PhD (from Bangor University) titled “Anxiety, self-confidence, self-efficacy and performance: some challenges to current thinking” in 2006. His PhD was funded by British Gymnastics where he worked as a sport psychologist from 2000-2005. Stuart is still (sometimes) active within the BGA.
