Lecturer in the School of Communication, University of South Australia

Holds a PhD in Communication and a Master of Arts in Communication (Creative). Her research interests include Young Adult and Children’s Literature, the representation of conflict and the Holocaust in children's and young adult fiction, the representations of females in speculative fiction and how 'evil' can be shown in fiction. She’s written book chapters, refereed journal articles and short fiction. Sue also holds a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing, a Certificate in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts.
