Dr. Suhaib Riaz is an Associate Professor of Management at University of Ottawa, Canada. His research interests are focused on current issues of global significance related to (a) Organizations, institutions and society i.e. how various facets of the organizations-institutions interaction impact society, particularly issues related to financialization and inequality, and (b) Organizing for socio-economic change, which includes investigating new organizing initiatives amidst institutional and other challenges in various global contexts.

His research has been published in Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Research in the Sociology of Organizations, Human Relations, Organization, Journal of World Business, Critical Perspectives on International Business, and The Leadership Quarterly. He is Editor for "Global Issues and Business Ethics" Section at the Journal of Business Ethics. His work has also appeared in Harvard Business Review online, Ivey Business Journal, Academy of International Business Insights and has been republished or cited in Businessweek, Huffington Post, Forbes, etc.

He has been an invited speaker for panels at Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and European Group for Organizational Studies, and a keynote speaker at Boston Field Research Conference.
