Susan Davis

Dr Susan Davis joined Cardiff Met as a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies in September 2004. Previously she taught in the field of Early Years Education in Nursery and Reception, before becoming a tutor on the CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education at Coleg Gwent Ebbw Vale. She also taught with the Open University on their Early Childhood Studies Degree programmes. She is currently a senior lecturer on the PGCE primary programme, specialising in Foundation Phase education and teaches Early Childhood Studies on the BA (Hons) Educational studies with Early Childhood Studies within the Cardiff School of Education.

Susan has recently completed a professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) entitled: Investigating the implementation of an emotional literacy programme on the pedagogy and reflective practice of trainee teachers.
