Professor Emerita (Decolonizing & Women's Literatures in English; Women's and Gender Studies), University of Saskatchewan

BA (York), MA (Queen's), PhD (Toronto). My areas of academic research and teaching in the English Department are decolonizing and women's literatures. In Women's and Gender Studies I was a generalist, but my ongoing research and writing is in violence against women and children, especially Indigenous women and girls. I have for 7 years been an active member of Iskwewuk E-wichiwitochik/Women Walking Together, a Saskatoon activist group that works on the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit+ people.
