Susan Sonnenschein

Dr. Susan Sonnenschein's research focuses on factors that promote the educational development of children from different demographic groups. She has published extensively on this topic, including four co-authored/edited books and several hundred publications/book chapters and presentations.

In addition to her research, Dr. Sonnenschein has conducted many evaluations of developmental and educational programs. Her research has been funded by federal agencies and foundations.

Dr. Sonneschein has a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Stony Brook University and a M.S. in Educational Psychology from Penn State, and is a certified School Psychologist.
