Dr. Albert is a strategist with 30+ years in senior management roles, economic development, and management consulting in government, not-for-profit, and private sector. She published multiple books, research articles, contributed to government policy, and presented at international conferences on Digitalization and Community Development.

Her new books include: Innovative Solutions for Creating Sustainable Cities, based on a collaboration with internationally-renowned thinkers on the future of cities. Performance Metrics for Sustainable Cities published by Routledge provides examples of indicators being used and suggested to measure political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, ecological, and legal (policy) improvements based on local goals.
