I am a researcher and knowledge broker, working with a collaborative research team and policy and practice partners in Government and Non-Government, to support best practice in food relief agencies in Australia. This work aims to support dignified service, quality food supply and pathways towards food security.
I am an experienced public health professional and have worked across policy, research and teaching. In my consultancy I work with organisations to translate or generate evidence, engaging people to add meaning and value. I serve on the 'Implementation Science Communications' journal editorial board and as a mentor for the Australian Health Promotion Association.
I am passionate about addressing social and structural determinants of health, equity and social justice. As a knowledge broker I aim to support evidence-informed decision-making, and to ensure that research investments are useful, relevant and have impact.
