I have a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology from Trinity College Dublin and have since held postdoctoral positions at several organisations. The focus of my work is broadly virus-host interactions, specifically antiviral immunity and viral immune evasion or escape. My research has included working with several viral species, including Hantaan virus, HIV-1 and influenza.
