Taylor Dotson

Taylor Dotson earned his PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. An associate professor of social science at New Mexico Tech, he has published two books with MIT Press. The first is The Divide: How Fanatical Certitude is Destroying Democracy, and the second is Technically Together: Reconstructing Communication in a Networked Age. He is a frequent contributor to The New Atlantis. His research focuses on the social and political changes necessary to realize healthier democracies, thicker communities, and more vibrant ecosystems.
